The George and Linda Price Educational Scholarship Program

The George and Linda Price Educational Scholarship Program awards funds for post-secondary education to eligible HACA members. The board recently voted to increase the amount of the scholarship award. Now two recipients will receive a $3,000 scholarship each for use within one academic year. This program is open to members with a bleeding disorder, as well as their siblings or parents. The scholarships may be used at any accredited non-profit college, university, vocational or technical school in the United States.

Congratulations to Daniel Krug, the 2016-2017 recipient of the George and Linda Price Scholarship.

The Sandi Qualley National Meeting Attendance Scholarship

The Sandi Qualley National Scholarship Fund is a scholarship awarded to a HACA member to attend either the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) Annual Meeting or the Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) Symposium. It is named in honor of Sandi Qualley, who served as the Executive Director of HACA from 1991 to 2011.

The application process for the 2017 scholarship is now open. The deadline has passed for assistance to attend HFA’s Symposium, but there is time to apply for assistance to attend the NHF Annual Meeting in Chicago August 24-26. That deadline has been extended to February 28.  Click here for the application.
