HACA Fall Festival and Walk
Join the Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area for its fourth annual walk event on Saturday, October 14, 2017.
The HACA Fall Festival and Walk will take place at Lake Accotink Park in Springfield, VA, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The daylong activity will feature activities at the McLaren-Sargent Pavilion, a walk along beautiful Lake Accotink, and a picnic lunch after the walk. Kids of all ages are encouraged to dress up for our Halloween costume contest (try to incorporate that team T-shirt!).
This year’s walk co-chairs are Peter Larson and Bob Ensinger of Team Heath. They have participated in every walk since its inception in 2013.
Participants can enter Lake Accotink Park from the Heming Avenue entrance, located just off Queensberry Avenue, which can be accessed from Braddock Road south of 495. There will be plenty of FREE parking, as well as disabled parking and restrooms at the pavilion. Look for the signs the day of the event.
Our fundraising goal for 2017 is $60,000! Help us meet this goal by signing up and start fundraising today!
